Teixeira Possible

Saw today where some executives around baseball were predicting that the Red Sox were going to go hard after Mark Teixeira in an effort to transform their team into a kind of "super" team. I don't know if I think this actually a good idea. First off Teixeirahas a very bad history with the Red Sox already, the Red Sox drafted him out of high school and the negotations turned bitter. He's also a Borris client and most likely want to try out free agency after next year. Unless the Rangers asking price falls through the floor they're going to have give up some prospects and most likely Youkilis. I love Youk but I'd give him up here. Alot of this begs the question just how hurt is David Ortiz. If he's hurt go for it off not I say no.
